2. PROGRAMME
The meeting will be based in the Ken Edwards Building on the
University of Leicester campus. Tea/coffee will be available between
sessions and there will be a choice of campus eating places during the
lunch break.

3. POSTER SESSION
There are opportunities to contribute a poster.
We anticipate, for example, that all those who have had UKAFF time
will wish to report on its use. Please indicate your preference on
the Registration Form [see 7. FORMS].
4. REGISTRATION
The Registration Fee is:
after 31 July 2001: £140
The fee will include:
- Mon Evening Reception
- Tue Poster Reception
- Wed visit to National Space Centre + trip to Country Pub/Morris Dancing
- Thu Conference Dinner
- Morning and afternoon tea/coffee
It will not include:
- Lunch and evening meals
(except for Mon/Tue Receptions and Thu Conference Dinner)
- Overnight accommodation
- Travel between hotel and conference venue

5. ACCOMMODATION
It is advisable to reserve your accommodation as soon as possible.
For delegates who wish to stay overnight, we have reserved rooms at
HOTEL IBIS, which is centrally situated near the main railway station,
about 15 minutes' walk from the University, and close to all main

Limited car parking is available on a first-come first-served basis.
There is also a public car park nearby at which overnight parking can
be arranged (at a charge of £4.50 per 24 hours).

6. TRAVEL
Leicester is located in the middle of the UK, 100 miles north of
London, with good access to trains and motorways. The nearest
regional airports are Birmingham International and East Midlands
International, though there are links to London- Heathrow,
London-Gatwick, and direct trains to London-Stansted.
University of Leicester is situated approx 10 minutes' walk from the
main Leicester railway station. There are also regular bus links.
